Tea Cup Topiary

I love topiaries. I blogged about how to make your own here

I found this great teacup at T.J. Maxx a few weeks ago....

This made it even more cute....

I love teacups AND topiaries, so I thought, why not make a teacup topiary?
I already had the few simple supplies I needed: a wooden dowel, craft moss, a clear plastic Christmas ornament, and hot glue.

I glued the ornament on the dowel, and the other end of the dowel into the teacup. I used some foam as filler in the teacup.

I glued the moss onto the ornament and down into the teacup....

And voila!

Very sweet, I say!

  3. I just love your topiary, Kelly! I've enjoyed making them before, too, but would have never thought of using a tea cup! Yours is just adorable. And thanks for the great tip about using the ornament for the base, much cheaper than the foam balls, I think!!
