I found this great teacup at T.J. Maxx a few weeks ago....
This made it even more cute....
I love teacups AND topiaries, so I thought, why not make a teacup topiary?
I already had the few simple supplies I needed: a wooden dowel, craft moss, a clear plastic Christmas ornament, and hot glue.
I glued the ornament on the dowel, and the other end of the dowel into the teacup. I used some foam as filler in the teacup.
I glued the moss onto the ornament and down into the teacup....
And voila!
Very sweet, I say!

ReplyDeleteThat is adorable, Kelly! Thanks for sharing it!!
ReplyDeleteI just love your topiary, Kelly! I've enjoyed making them before, too, but would have never thought of using a tea cup! Yours is just adorable. And thanks for the great tip about using the ornament for the base, much cheaper than the foam balls, I think!!
ReplyDeleteThat is VERY pretty. Never would have thought of that. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteI love this! Thanx for visiting my blog :) Had to check out the teacup topiary immediately of course and I'm glad I did :) And at only $1 that cup is a total steal!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I've never thought to make one. I have4 a sort-of topiary theme in my guest bathroom and I'm going to make one of these to add to it.
