I know that making the book page/sheet music crafts are old hat to most people by now, but I adore them! So, I decided to make a sheet music/book page tree topper for our all-homemade ornaments Christmas tree. The pages came from a ratty old paperback, and the sheet music came from
The Graphics Fairy.
I used a Ball lid (one of my favorite crafting elements) for the center.
It's the old routine...roll up the book pages....
and assemble around the Ball lid...
I fashioned a dark green file folder into a cone for the base.
Simple and sweet!
P.S. Of course, I'm linking up to one of my favorite parties....
This is so clever! I love that you made it into a tree topper!! Thanks for linking this up to Brag Monday.
ReplyDeleteThat will look very cute on your tree! Good idea to use the file folder - I never would have thought of that.
ReplyDeleteI love your tree topper! Using the canning jar lid is such a good idea, I'll have to remember that one! I am probably one of the few people who hasn't made a book page wreath! Sounds like I need to get busy:)
ReplyDeleteYour tree topper is great! You make it look so easy!
