I have noticed that when picking clothes, dishes, decore, etc., I very often choose white. At a football game recently, I realized I was wearing a white sweater, white peacoat, and white gloves!
This definitely carries over into my home. I guess white is traditionally a summer color, but isn't it beautiful in this cold, wintry months? And doesn't its purity give you a sense of calmness and serenity? It certainly does me!
I agree totally. White is calm. I love color in other people’s homes and once and I while I am tempted to bring it back into my home. When I do I push it right back out. I find myself oooing and auughing over homes decorated in cream and white. It just resonates quite nicely with me. I love that rug you have. Yum!

I love white, too, and can't get enough of it! Although I try and pass on the white clothes, I'm pale enough as it is this time of year:) Plus, I never seem to be able to keep them white! But a home with lots of that hue to me is so soothing and restful. Love it!!

I think that white is so elegant looking. Even though I love the look of white, I also tend to go toward dark furniture and accents. Aah well, who knows what makes my little brain tick!
