Button Eggs

Easter is of course an important holiday to us as Christians, but it is also so fun to decorate for!   When I think of Easter, I think of fresh colors and new starts.

That's probably why, even though Easter is almost two months away, I couldn't wait to start some Easter projects.

I hot glued some buttons (most of them are old--given to me by my Grandmother from her personal collection!) onto styrofoam eggs and stuck them on wooden dowels....nothing to it!

One I made from neutrals dotted with a little orange....

And the other is made of Easter pastels....

Anyone hunting eggs this year?

Happy early Easter!

  2. Cute...cute...cute! You have such original ideas, Kelly! Nice way to show off the buttons given to you by your grandmother. Easter is one of my favorite holidays. There was an article on vintage buttons in the new Flea Market Style magazine that I found interesting. Love these!
