I'm that girl that has never had nice pots and pans. I always went with the cheapest of the cheap and spent my money elsewhere. Deep down, I always thought, "There's no difference between my cheap pans and the expensive ones."
I was wrong.
Meet Green Pan.
Green Pan is headquartered in Belgium, but they recently opened a new office right here in the good 'ol U.S.A, in Tarrytown, NY to be exact. Their philosophy? "A healthy and happy life in an enjoyable environment is our biggest goal in life. GreenPan™ commits to this, and invests 100% in research towards healthy and eco-friendly technologies."
And they make amazing cookware. Really amazing. What sets Green Pan apart is its patented non-stick technology and innovative product designs. You can find their products in high-end stores such as Le Gourmet Chef and Crate and Barrel.
Several things really amazed me about this product. One was the incredible quality of the pan. It was weighty and sturdy but not bulky and hard to use.
Another was how quickly it heated and evenly it then cooked. I sauteed garlic and basil in the pan, and then added my roma tomatoes. The sauce turned out perfectly.
The non-stick surface was also a breeze to clean with the special cleaning sponge! With Green Pan, you can be eco-friendly without sacrificing quality. It's the best of both worlds! Something to think about with Christmas right around the corner!
The extremely nice folks at Green Pan have offered to give one Till Death Do Us Part reader her (or his!) own lovely prize package of a saute pan, cleaning sponge, hot pad, and tote bag. Score!
